how to understand the score in the Effect of point mutations ?
| Hello ,professor ,I am a postgraduate from china .Thank you for your contributions to the PredictProtein.It is very convenient to use your website and i think it will help me a lot in my research .After getting the results ,i am confused about the score in the effect of point mutations.how to understand the neutral or no effect? Does it mean that if we mutate the wild amino acid to the <-50 amino acid ,there will be no or less effect on the protein?besides this ,if i want to do research on the mutation of a protein ,shoud i choose the dark red amino acid ?
